OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
David Evans & Associates has been selected through a competitive process to perform design engineering services for the NE 40th Street Shared Use Path project (163rd Ave NE to 172nd Ave NE). The total contract amount is not to exceed $1,115,400. Staff are requesting approval for the Mayor to sign the consultant agreement, and approval to secure right-of-way and/or easements to construct and maintain the improvements.

This project has been approved through Governance to add Transportation Benefit District funds in the amount of $2,864,400 to include a pavement overlay of NE 40th Street between 156th Ave NE and Bel-Red Road.
