Approval of Authorization to Execute Three Wireless Telecommunications Amendments for Novelty Hill, Fire Station 14, and Education Hill
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

The City of Redmond has active leases with wireless telecom providers (telecoms) for wireless telecommunication facilities at several parks and public works properties throughout the City. Three telecom companies have requested amendments to the terms of their leases.
Proposed lease amendments will update lease terms for the following telecoms at specific city locations:
* AT&T: Novelty Hill Water Tank
* Crown Castle for Verizon: Fire Station 14
* Verizon: Education Hill Water Tank
Updated lease terms will allow the telecoms to update equipment, expand leasehold areas, and/or extend terms.

* AT&T: Novelty Hill Water Tank - equipment modifications and revised rate structure
* Crown Castle for Verizon: Fire Station 14 - expansion of leasehold area and revised rate structure
* Verizon: Education Hill Water Tank - extension of lease for ten years
These amendments will continue the City's partnerships with the telecoms at city properties, and the City will continue to receive rental revenue.
