Redmond 2050: Planning Commission Recommendations for Phase 2B Comprehensive Plan Elements and Critical Areas Regulations

OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council provide direction for topics or issues to discuss at its July 9 and July 23 study sessions concerning the Planning Commission's recommendations for:
* Utilities; Capital Facilities; and Participation, Implementation, and Evaluation Elements; and
* Natural Environment Element and Critical Areas Regulations.

On April 24, 2024, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the above-listed components of the Redmond Comprehensive Plan and Redmond Zoning Code. Staff will introduce the Commission's recommendations at the Council's July 2 business meeting.

Staff recommends that Council first review the Planning Commission Reports (Attachments B and D), which summarize the amendments and include the full text of the amendments. Detailed Planning Commission Report appendices are included as Attachments C and E.
