Affordable Housing and 2021 ARCH Work Program and Budget

OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH) was created in 1992 through an interlocal agreement of several city governments and King County to address housing needs in East King County; it currently has 16 member jurisdictions. ARCH assists members in developing housing policies, strategies, programs, and development regulations; coordinates the cities' financial support to groups creating affordable housing for low and moderate-income households; and assists people looking for affordable rental and ownership housing. As a member of ARCH, the City of Redmond reviews and approves ARCH's annual budget and work program. The 2021 ARCH Work Program and Budget are required to be approved by each of the 16 member councils that are party to the Interlocal Agreement. This proposed 2021 administrative budget request to Redmond is $123,104, which represents no change from the 2020 budget. The 2021 Work Program and Budget details are more fully provided for in Attachment A.
