Adopt attached ordinance approving the Parks Docketed Comprehensive Plan Amendments relating to Trails, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Facilities Strategic Management Plan, and the Tree Canopy Strategic Plan. The amendments will ensure consistency between the City’s Comprehensive Plan and recently adopted strategic plans. These changes were approved by the City Council at the September 15, 2020 Business Meeting.

The Planning Commission completed their recommendation on July 22, 2020. The City Council approved these amendments at the September 15, 2020 meeting. The attached ordinance codifies the changes.
OUTCOMES:
The City benefits by ensuring the consistency with recently adopted planning documents and will also continue to support the vision for how and where Redmond grows, recreates, invests and protects its natural environment. This will make clear the connection between the strategic plans and the comprehensive plan.
