Confirmation of Board and Commission Member Reappointments
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

The following Commission Member terms will be expiring on March 31, 2024: Arts and Culture Commission Members Cari Scotkin, Anna Zanella and Kathy O’Keefe (partial term); Design Review Board Members Josiah Cline and Ana Cisneros; Landmark Commissioner Brian Rich; Library Board of Trustees Member Aaron Halabe (partial term); Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission Members Praveen Rachakulla (partial term) and James Kleppe; and Planning Commission Member Tara Van Niman.
These commissioners are eligible for reappointment and have expressed a desire to be reappointed for another term to continue their work. They are valuable members of their respective commissions and are highly recommended for reappointment.

ANTICIPATED RESULT IF NOT APPROVED:
If reappointment is not confirmed by Council, the seats will be vacant on April 1, 2024, causing potential quorum issues for these boards/commissions. The seats will then go through the full appointment process.
