The Redmond Pool is currently receiving a major renovation to which WAVE Aquatics has pledged to donate funds. The purpose of the renovation is to improve essential and high priority systems and make structural improvements to allow the pool to operate an additional 25-30 years.

WAVE Aquatics, the non-profit corporation and operator of the Redmond Pool, pledged to donate funds to be spent on the Redmond Pool Improvement Project. The sum of one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) was included in the budget for the project as a contribution by WAVE.
OUTCOMES:
Through extensive stakeholder involvement to gather input on the 2017 Future of Redmond’s Community Centers, aquatics facilities were ranked as the highest priority by the community and stakeholder group. The Redmond Pool Improvement Project was budgeted with the majority of the funding provided through the CIP. WAVE Aquatics pledged to donate one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) as their commitment to helping ensure Redmond has a local pool with updated amenities.
