OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

recommendation

This report includes an informational overview and demonstration of the Redmond Climate Action Challenge (Challenge). The Challenge is a fun, interactive platform that allows community members to quantify their carbon footprint, identify specific actions and resources to reduce their impact, and track progress. More than 120 residents have joined the Challenge since its launch in December 2021. The City, in partnership with the Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee, is conducting targeted outreach and developing materials to encourage the formation of challenge teams and further support community members on their sustainability journey.
