                     Other Key Facts:

The 2025 Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP) <https://www.redmond.gov/DocumentCenter/View/40532> serves as a five-year roadmap for the City and Redmond community to enhance natural systems, achieve net-zero carbon emissions, and create an environmentally sustainable community.

Under the ESAP’s Big Move 3: Provide Accessible and Sustainable Transportation, the City is prioritizing strategies that level the playing field for non-vehicle transportation modes and encourage community members to choose low-carbon transportation options.

The Redmond Transportation Master Plan (TMP) identifies the projects, programs, and investments that are needed to realize a multimodal transportation system that supports Redmond’s transition from “suburb to city.”

The TMP includes an E-Mobility Strategy, which outlines Redmond’s goals for advancing electric-mobility and EV infrastructure, while also acknowledging the need to reduce vehicle trips overall. The City’s E-Mobility Strategy builds upon the work and works in concert with the ESAP.
