Confirmation of Appointment of New Arts and Culture Commission Members
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

There are currently two openings on the Arts and Culture Commission, due to the resignations of Shama Farag and Carlos Jimenez.
The press release advertising these openings were posted on January 8, 2024 and February 13, 2024. After initial interviews, Michael Heavener and Pamela Waters were selected to move forward. Both were interviewed by Mayor Birney, and then by Council on March 26, 2024.
Michael Heavener will fill the opening left by Shama Farag and Pamela Waters will fill the opening left by Carlos Jimenez.
