OUTCOMES:

Community gardens were identified as a high need in the 2017 and 2022 PARCC Plan update. These were prioritized in the 2023-2024 budget process in response to our growing community and increased demands, particularly in the downtown core. Additional garden beds were installed and opened at Juel Park for the 2024 growing season and planning and ordering of supplies for the Anderson Park expansion began summer 2024. The community garden at Anderson Park will be open for the 2025 growing season.
