There is currently an opening on the Human Services Commission, due to the resignation of Janet Richards.
The press release advertising this opening was posted on January 12, 2023, and can be viewed at: Human Services Commission Seeks New Member (govdelivery.com) <https://content.govdelivery.com/bulletins/gd/WAREDMOND-34204e4?wgt_ref=WAREDMOND_WIDGET_2>. Nine applications were received and reviewed. Candidates were interviewed by City Staff and Commission Members. Samit Bordoloi was selected to move forward and interviewed with Mayor Birney on June 15, 2023 and by Council on June 27, 2023. Council approved confirmation of Mr. Bordoloi to the Human Services Commission.
