III.                     DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

The Eastside Transportation Partnership (ETP) has approved a new operating agreement and has requested that all parties approve the agreement.  The current agreement is slated to expire at the end of 2017, and King County, the lead agency, has requested approval from all parties in time for a fall adoption by King County.

This agreement will continue the operation of ETP, which is one of three transportation boards in King County that provides a forum to share information and build consensus to solve common transportation problems.

Staff presented this subject at the November 14, 2017, Planning and Public Works Committee meeting.  Based on the Committee’s recommendation, this item has been placed on the Consent Agenda.
