Data and information regarding the Mayor's salary was reviewed at two Study Sessions in March and April 2023 to assist Council in determining whether a change will be made to the Mayor's salary. Council decided that the Mayor's salary will be increased from $145,000 annually to $170,000 annually effective January 1, 2024 and remain at that amount during 2024 and 2025. They also decided that the Mayor's salary will be increased from $170,000 annually to $175,000 annually beginning January 1, 2026, and will remain at that level until Council approves a change. They also determined that the Mayor's car allowance will be maintained at $500 per month.
