Board and Commission Candidate Interviews
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

There is currently one opening on the Library Board of Trustees, due to the resignation of Marilee Leon.
The press release advertising this opening was posted on June 15, 2026, and can be viewed here.
Seven applications were received and reviewed. An interview panel, including the Library Board of Trustees Vice-Chairperson and two city staff members, interviewed the selected candidates, and
unanimously selected Jenny Lisk to move forward in the process. Ms. Lisk was
interviewed by Mayor Birney on July 27, 2026.
There is currently one opening on the Human Services Commission, due to the resignation of Shravani Salgaonkar.
The press release advertising this opening was posted on July 21, 2026, and can be viewed here.
Five additional applications were received and reviewed, since the last recruitment. An interview panel
interviewed the selected candidates, and selected Hannah Preisinger to move forward to interview with Mayor Birney.
Staff is now requesting that Council interviews Ms. Lisk and Ms. Preisinger to fill these openings.
