OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
There are two Community Facilities Districts (CFD) within the City of Redmond (www.redmond.gov/1946/Public-Private-Partnerships). Under CFD regulations, City Council must approve the appointment and reappoint of members to the Board of Supervisors.

Council is asked to:
* confirm Council appointment of Mike Behn, representative of Microsoft, to the Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2016-1 Board of Supervisors. Mike Behn will fill the seat previously held by Microsoft representative Marcia Jones. Mike Behn's term will be July 16, 2024-June 30, 2027.
* confirm Council reappointment of Councilmember Melissa Stuart. Councilmember Stuart's term will be July 16, 2024-June 30, 2027.
* confirm Council reappointment of Councilmember Vanessa Kritzer. Councilmember Kritzer's term will be July 16, 2024-June 30, 2027.

OUTCOMES:
CFD 2016-1 was established on June 21, 2016, as a partnership between the City of Redmond and Microsoft. As amended on July 25, 2017, the CFD is to fund multimodal and stormwater improvements.
