OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
There are two Community Facilities Districts (CFD) within the City of Redmond (www.redmond.gov/1946/Public-Private-Partnerships). Under CFD regulations, City Council must approve the appointment and reappoint of members to the Board of Supervisors.

Council is asked to:
* confirm the appointment of Mike Behn, representative of Microsoft, to the Community Facilities District (CFD) No. 2014-1 Board of Supervisors. Mike Behn will complete the term of previous Microsoft representative Marcia Jones that expires August 31, 2025.
* confirm reappointment of Councilmember Osman Salahuddin. Councilmember Salahuddin's term will be September 1, 2024-August 31, 2027.
* confirm reappointment of Microsoft representative Don Marcy. Don Marcy's term will be September 1, 2024-August 31, 2027.

OUTCOMES:
CFD 2014-1 was established on July 15, 2014, as a partnership between the City of Redmond, Microsoft, and Sound Transit to fund and construct improvements at the Overlake Transit Center (OTC), including a pedestrian bridge over SR 520 and 156th Avenue NE.
