III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee (RYPAC) started in the 1990’s. RYPAC originally was a board partnership between adult community members and youth. In the early 2000’s RYPAC refocused to a youth centric model. They are the driving force for youth volunteerism for the City of Redmond.
RYPAC plans to share a summary of their 2018-2019 achievements with the City Council for discussion. Highlights include the events teens participated in and how they served the Redmond community and Redmond youth. RYPAC will also present their plans for the 2019-2020 school year to the City Council and gather input.
