OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
In late 2022, staff submit a grant application for the Transportation Improvement Board's Active Transportation Program for the Bel-Red Road Buffered Bike Lanes Project from NE 30th Street to West Lake Sammamish Parkway.

The City was awarded this project and the state grant would supplant local funds allocated in the current budget. Grant funding was awarded on project criteria and Capital Investment Program (CIP) project schedule with design beginning in 2023.
