Redmond Pool Public Art

OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
The 1972 Redmond Pool is undergoing a significant renovation to replace mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; the roof; and updating the locker rooms, lobby, and pool deck. Using the 2017 Public Art Plan and LACE criteria as a guide, it was decided to integrate public art into this project. After an exhaustive search, the Arts & Culture Commission approved the selection of artists Pete Goldlust and Melanie Germond to design art for the fa?ade and at the street that welcomes visitors. The artwork is scheduled for installation in Q1 2021
