OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

Attachment A contains a resolution opposing Initiative 2066. Should the initiative pass, Redmond programs such as Energy Smart Eastside, the Green Building Incentive Program, and other Environmental Sustainability Action Plan efforts may not be permitted. This item has been brought forward to the Council through the Council Policy Proposal process (see Attachment B). At the Business Meeting on October 15, 2024, there will be a public comment in which members of the legislative body or the public must be allowed an approximate equal opportunity to express opposing views.
