??Redmond operates a hybrid water system, where approximately 60% of drinking water is purchased from Cascade Water Alliance. The other 40% is produced from the City's five municipal supply wells. Redmond's municipal supply wells are deemed moderate and highly vulnerable to surface contamination and requires diligence to protect this valuable resource. This is achieved through a robust Wellhead Protection Program, compliance with drinking water regulations, and maintenance of our distribution system.
