OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council discuss issues identified in Attachment A and provide input to staff during its study session on September 26, 2023. The focus for September 26 will be the Economic Vitality Element; the Parks, Arts, Recreation, Culture, and Conservation (PARCC) Element; and the 2023 PARCC Plan.

At the September 5, 2023, business meeting, staff provided a general update on Redmond 2050 and introduced recommended updates to the Economic Vitality, PARCC, Housing, and Centers Elements of the Redmond Comprehensive Plan. Councilmembers discussed issues related to schedule, housing, centers, and environmental review at the Council's September 12 study session.

First drafts of these elements were published in early 2022, with multiple iterations since. The Planning Commission held public hearings for these elements in June, July, and August 2023 to receive addition...
