TITLE:
title
Approval of a Memorandum of Understanding with King County Solid Waste Division for Reimbursement of Rate Restructure Work

OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
King County Solid Waste Division is changing the rate structure for the disposal of municipal solid waste. This restructure is intended to collect the same revenue as the status quo, but in a more stable way without shifting costs between cities. This requires cities and waste haulers to update the disposal component terms in their collection contracts. The memorandum of understanding provides reimbursement to the City of Redmond for this work.
