Approval of the Statement of Work with LONG Building Services, Inc. to Replace the Access Control System at Redmond Community Center at Marymoor Village

OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
When the City acquired the Redmond Community Center – Marymoor Village, we inherited a limited access control system that does not align with the unified platform used for other City facilities. This contract with LONG Building Services, Inc will replace the current system and will include removal of legacy equipment, installation of new hardware, system configuration, testing, commissioning, and training. Additionally, this will serve as a pilot for an upcoming citywide plan to transition the current, outdated onpremises physical access control system to a cloudhosted solution and will serve to inform future deployments.

The cost for the pilot installation of the Avigilon Alta system is $184,885.78 plus $16,228.80 for support costs through 2028.
