OVERVIEW STATEMENT:

To celebrate Volunteer Month, the City will be hosting a Volunteer Fair on April 4 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Redmond Senior & Community Center. This fair will connect Redmond community members with City programs and organizations serving the Redmond community in need of volunteers.
In addition to highlighting the upcoming fair, this update provides a broader snapshot of the City's volunteer program, including ongoing coordination efforts across departments and recent program developments.

OUTCOMES:
Through the Volunteer Coordinator's increased capacity to streamline and organize the volunteer program, the City can adopt systems and procedures for volunteer programs and work. This will allow the City to more effectively tap into the significant desire for volunteerism in Redmond.
The Redmond volunteer fair will allow the City and organizations serving the Redmond community to connect with those interested in volunteering in Redmond. Fair attendees will build relationships with the staff who support volunteer programs across our community and understand exactly how they can get involved.
