Requesting Council approval of 2023-2025 Agreement No. SWMLSWFA-2023-RedmPW-00140 Solid Waste Management Local Solid Waste Financial Assistance Agreement (LSWFA) between the State of Washington Department of Ecology and the City of Redmond for $124,550.33.The City is eligible to receive this biannual grant of $124,550.33 ($93,412.75 Ecology, $31,137.58 City of Redmond) from the Washington State Department of Ecology for July 2023 - June 2025. The goal of the grant program is to provide outreach, education, and collection for the commercial and multi-family organics composting route. Education and operational assistance for recycling and composting at Derby Days is also included.
