II.                     DEPARTMENT CONTACTS

John Marchione, Mayor 425-556-2101

III.                     DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

A vacancy exists on the Library Board due to Jason Robertson’s term expiration. Also, a vacancy exists on the Human Services Commission due to Valerie Bays’ term expiration. Additionally, a vacancy exists on the Planning Commission due to Meishelle Haverkamp’s resignation.

I recommend that Murthy Srinivas be appointed to the Library Board, JoEllen Watson be appointed to the Human Services Commission, and Vidyanand Rajpathak be appointed to the Planning Commission. They are highly qualified, and I believe they will be excellent additions to their respective board and commissions.

Murthy Srinivas would fill the vacancy left by Jason Robertson. Murthy’s term would expire March 31, 2022. JoEllen Watson would fill the vacancy left by Valerie Bays. JoEllen’s term would expire March 31, 2021. Vidyanand Rajpathak would complete Meishelle Haverkamp’s term, which expires March 31, 2020.
