Accept King County Waterworks Grant in the amount of $20,000 for public outreach truck wraps, and authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement.

III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
This grant was applied for in September of 2017 and the application was approved on May 31, 2018. The grant is for $20,000 to develop multiple graphic designs which provide outreach messaging on vinyl wraps which will be applied to up to five Public Works vehicles. The messaging will focus on water quality issues, such as preventing pollutants from entering surface waters via storm drains, and preventing contamination of Redmond's aquifers. Grant funding will be used to manufacture and apply the wraps; graphic design services will be donated by One Call Concepts, Inc.

V. IMPACT
A. Service/Delivery:
The truck wraps will be designed to be eye-catching and will communicate information to the public about water conservation and pollution prevention. The vehicles that will be wrapped are typically used daily throughout the City, so this messaging will reach a large audience.
B. Fiscal Note:
The grant will fund the manufacture and installation of up to five vinyl truck wraps. Matching funds will be provided through donated graphic design services and five hours of City staff time to transport the vehicles.
