III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
At the January 8, 2019, Planning and Public Works Committee of the Whole meeting, Council Members expressed interest in having staff provide a presentation about the Comprehensive Plan process before the Council acts on the recommended 2018-19 docket. Staff provided a brief overview on January 15, 2019, which included four new privately-initiated proposals. During the meeting, Council Members identified key questions and issues to discuss at the February 26, 2019, study session.
The February 26, 2019, study session will be presented in two parts: staff will present an overview of the Redmond Comprehensive Plan process and respond to questions, then continue Council's discussion on the recommended docket including resolving issues listed on the Issues Matrix. IV. PREVIOUS DISCUSSIONS HELD
Staff briefed the Planning and Public Works Committee of the Whole on the recommendation on January 8 and provided a staff report to the full Council on
January 15, 2019.

A. Service/Delivery:
The City of Redmond's procedure for reviewing and adopting annual amendments to the Comprehensive Plan is to adopt a blanket ordinance that establishes the content and framework of the annual amendment package.
