Award the bid for the 187th Ave NE Pavement Repair Project No. 20011816 to Watson Asphalt Paving Co. Inc. of Redmond, Washington for the amount bid of $710,415 and authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement.

III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
Project Purpose
The purpose of this project is to reconstruct existing pavement, associated curb ramps and minor stormwater improvement on 187th Ave. NE between Redmond-Fall City Road NE (SR202) and East Lake Sammamish Parkway.
Project Description
The project includes construction of approximately 1300 linear feet of full depth pavement roadway section, new ADA curb ramps, replacement of a storm sewer pipe crossing, two speed radar signs and new channelization.
Bid Results
The project was advertised in the daily journal of Commerce on May 2 and May 8, 2019 the City Clerk received bids until 2 pm, May 23, 2019.
There were (3) bidders and the bids are summarized below:

All bidder's unit prices, extensions and additions have been checked for accuracy and unbalanced bid items. The contractor's references were checked and found to be acceptable. Staff recommends award to Watson Asphalt Paving Co. Inc. the low and responsive bidder.
