III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
A vacancy exists on the Landmark Commission due to the term expiration of Thomas Hitzroth.
I recommend that Marilyn Lazaro be appointed to the Landmark Commission. She is highly qualified, and I believe she will be an excellent addition to the Commission.
Ms. Lazaro’s term would expire on March 31, 2023.
IV. PREVIOUS DISCUSSIONS HELD
Ms. Lazaro was interviewed by the Redmond City Council on September 24, 2019.

VI. ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The City Council could choose not to confirm the appointment, in which case, additional candidates would need to be interviewed.
