III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND
Two openings exist on the Planning Commission due to the resignations of Stephanie Rodriguez and Vanessa Kritzer.
I recommend that Aaron Knopf and Denni Shefrin be appointed to the Planning Commission. They are highly qualified, and I believe they will be excellent additions to the Commission. Mr. Knopf would complete Ms. Kritzer’s term, which expires
March 31, 2022. Ms. Shefrin would complete Ms. Rodriguez’s term, which expires
March 31, 2020.
IV. PREVIOUS DISCUSSIONS HELD
Mr. Knopf and Ms. Shefrin were interviewed by the Redmond City Council on
November 26, 2019.

VI. ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The City Council could choose not to confirm the appointments, in which case, additional candidates would need to be interviewed.
