II.                     DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

 

On January 17, 2018, the City Council authorized a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Redmond and Microsoft for the funding of additional City personnel needed to support the Microsoft Refresh project. This multi-year campus refresh will include 18 new buildings, resulting in 6.7 million square feet of new workspace, transportation infrastructure improvements, public spaces, sports fields, and green space.  This briefing will highlight the following:

3.                     Challenges

4.                     Progress in the Field

5.                     Project Schedule and Next Steps
