OUTCOMES:
The Stormwater Treatment Retrofit will treat stormwater from SR 520 and NE 40th Street before it enters the new NE 40th Street Stormwater Trunk (completed in 2017). High traffic volumes and minimal existing treatment result in the contributing basin having some of the heaviest pollution levels within the City limits. The proposed facility will provide enhanced treatment, phosphorous control and oil control, resulting in substantial improvement to water quality in stormwater draining to Lake Sammamish and Villa Marina Creek.
