Planning Commission completed their recommendation on July 22, 2020 and submitted it to the City Council for adoption.


OUTCOMES:
The City benefits by ensuring the consistency with recently adopted planning documents and will also continue to support the vision for how and where Redmond grows, recreates, invests and protects its natural environment. This will make clear the connection between the strategic plans and the comprehensive plan.

Each strategic plan had extensive outreach. The recommendations received public hearings on July 8, 2020 and July 22, 2020 facilitated by the Planning Commission.

The Parks and Trails Commission had four meetings where these potential amendments were discussed.

The Planning Commission recommended adoption of the amendments.
