Council is requested to review and provide input on the Draft City of Redmond 2021 State Legislative Agenda. As explained during the September 22, 2020 Study Session discussion of top 2021 legislative priorities, there are no study sessions available for Council review of the Draft Legislative Agenda due to budget deliberations; instead Council will have significant time at the Parks and Human Services Committee of the Whole meeting for this review.

Council provided input on their top priority issues for the 2021 Legislative Session at a Study Session on September 22, 2020. This input formed the basis for the Draft City of Redmond 2021 Legislative Agenda. The PowerPoint from the September 22, 2020 Study Session is attached.
The State Legislative Agenda identifies the City's priorities for the upcoming State Legislative Session. The legislative agenda guides the City's work with our local legislators and day-to-day work before and during the session. The legislative agenda includes the City's top priority issues and other policy issues the City supports or opposes. In recent years, the City has worked to develop a concise and easily comprehensible legislative agenda that provides flexibility to address issues as they develop.
