City of Redmond Utilities Strategic Plan Study Sessions
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
During two Council study sessions, Public Works staff will provide the City Council with information needed to support their review and adoption of the City of Redmond Utilities Strategic Plan.
o The Utilities Strategic Plan provides a roadmap that will direct utility activities through 2050. The Plan builds on the Utilities Strategic Framework that was discussed and supported by the City Council in Fall 2019.
o During the first study session, staff will: a) provide an overview of the services provided by the four City-run utilities, b) describe the Plan's contents, and c) discuss how the Plan integrates with other City strategic planning efforts.
o During the second study session, staff will: a) discuss the outreach efforts that supported the Plan's development, b) detail the performance targets and measures associated with each strategy, c) provide examples of actions scheduled over the next two years, and d) briefly discuss potential mid and long actions.
The Final Draft Utilities Strategic Plan will be provided to the City Council for review after the first study session.
