Green Redmond Partnership Summary 2020
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
The Green Redmond Partnership has been active with on-the-ground restoration work in forested parkland since 2009. Working from a 20-year Forest Management Plan developed in 2007, the partnership has a goal of bringing 1,035 acres of forested parkland into active management by developing and supporting an engaged volunteer community. 2020 accomplishments include:
• 428 volunteers
• 1,264 volunteer hours
• 509 trees planted
• 170 new acres enrolled
• 27 forest stewards
• Green Redmond Days
