OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
Award of Bid to Westwater Construction Company of Renton, WA in the Amount of $1,286,260 for the Redmond Way/ELSP/180th Ave NE Intersection Improvements No. 20012012; and

Approval of Supplemental Consultant Agreement 1 with Perteet, Inc. in the Amount of $43,915 for Construction Engineering Support Services for the Redmond Way/ELSP/180th Ave NE Intersection Improvements, City Project No. 20012012

These improvements will boost capacity on the SR 202 corridor to support increased travel volumes associated with growth and improve access to the Marymoor light rail station.

The improvements will enhance pedestrian safety through crosswalk revisions, support bicycle mobility with new north/south bicycle lanes, increase vehicle capacity by enabling eastbound right turn movements to occur concurrently with southbound through and westbound left movements.

The project is supported by a Sound Transit grant in the amount of $803,375
