There is currently an opening on the Library Board of Trustees, due to the resignation of Clara Yuan.
The press release advertising this opening was posted on June 30, 2022, and can be viewed at: News Release: City Accepting Applications for the Library Board of Trustees (govdelivery.com). Five applications were received and reviewed. The Library Board Chairperson and City Staff
interviewed select candidates on August 4, 2022, and selected Alice Zeng to move forward. Ms. Zeng was interviewed by Mayor Birney on August 11, 2022.
Alice Zeng has been nominated for appointment, subject to Council confirmation.
