Tribal Carved Art Piece Lower Bear Creek
OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
recommendation
In 2013, the City of Redmond entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Army Corps of Engineers and other agencies to mitigate adverse effects to the archaeological site at the lower Bear Creek project. One stipulation of the MOA is to create a hand-carved tribal art piece to be installed at the lower Bear Creek project. The city will contract with Muckleshoot carvers, Le Pas, LLC. to carve a Coast Salish House Post.
