III. DESCRIPTION/BACKGROUND

Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC)
The PSRC Executive Committee authorized distribution of federal grant revenue for the years 2021 and 2022 at the July 26, 2018 meeting. Redmond was successful in both the Regional and Countywide competitions and received nearly $7 million dollars in new transportation revenue for three projects:
o 152nd Avenue Main Street Construction, $4,250,000
o NE 40th Street Shared Use Path Construction, $1,200,000
o NE 90th Street Preservation Design and Construction, $1,400,000

This is the most recent round of PSRC's biannual competitive distribution of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) funds for jurisdictions in King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap counties.
